On the May 17th, 2025, Heilongjiang University made a remarkable appearance at the main hall of the 34th Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair, showcasing its strengths through a 126-square-meter dedicated exhibition zone in Section B. Under the theme "Technology Empowerment · Innovation Drive · Diversified Integration," the university meticulously presented four distinctive sections: "Charming HLJU," "Sci-Tech HLJU," "Cultural HLJU," and "Taste of HLJU.
The exhibition comprehensively highlighted the university's robust capabilities in Russian studies, Research on Qing History and Manchu Studies, cultivation of new quality productive forces, sci-tech achievement commercialization, and cultural heritage innovation—contributing " Heilongjiang University Wisdom" to revitalizing Heilongjiang province and advancing international economic cooperation.
During the inspection tour, Provincial Party Secretary Xu Qin and Governor Liang Huiling visited the Heilongjiang University exhibition area. They inspected the university's sci-tech achievements display and featured food exhibition, accompanied by President Wang Jingbo and Vice President Li Zhuo, who provided detailed explanations.

During her visit to Heilongjiang University’s exhibition zone at the Harbin International Economic Trade Fair, Tan Yuhong, Deputy Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Publicity Department, commended the university’s active participation in the event. Engineering innovations took center stage with the College of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering's smart farming solutions - from automatic seeders to complete intelligent irrigation systems incorporating fiber-optic sensors developed by the College of Electronic Engineering. The digital transformation section featured HLJU's DeepSeek Data Center, highlighting the university's advancements in big data applications. Perhaps most engaging were the industry-education integration products like foldable skis and a rowing-running hybrid machine, which physically demonstrated HLJU's commitment to national initiatives like "Healthy China." The display also featured intricate paper-cut lamps and journals adorned with iconic university landmarks, as well as novel edible art in the form of vibrant red beet ice cream sculpted into designs of HLJU's mascot "Long Xiaobo", the historic main building, and the official university seal.
